CS 1.6 Revolution is a build of Counter-Strike 1.6 that keeps the classic gameplay and adds a few selective visual changes. It's compatible with almost any server, so it works for both casual and competitive play.

Weapon skins

Most weapons keep their standard look, while four are reskinned: the knife, the AWP, the AK-47 and the M4A1. The rest of the arsenal stays familiar.

Standard player models

The build uses the standard Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist models. Because the models are unchanged, you can join almost any CS 1.6 server - competitive, casual or modded - without model conflicts.

Server mods to try

CS 1.6 Revolution works well with server mods. For a clean, unmodified build, see our CS 1.6 Checker version. Some popular server modes:

  • Deathmatch: instant respawns for non-stop action and aim practice.
  • Zombie Plague: survive against infected players.
  • GunGame: switch weapons with each kill until you've used the whole arsenal.
  • Surf: slide across ramps in a movement challenge.
  • Jailbreak: role-play as prisoners or guards.
  • Hide and Seek: hiders blend into the map while seekers hunt them.
  • Deathrun: get through trap-filled maps to the end.
  • Knife Arena: knife-only close-quarters fights.
  • Bhop (Bunny Hop): chain jumps for high-speed movement.
  • SuperHero: play with comic-style powers.

Installation and compatibility

The download is malware-free and installs quickly. CS 1.6 Revolution runs on Windows 7, 8 and 10 with stable performance.
