CS 1.6 Anubis is a mod named after the CS:GO Anubis Operation, which launched in 2022 with an Egyptian-themed map and a set of skins. Anubis is the ancient Egyptian god of mummification. The mod brings that theme into Counter-Strike 1.6.

Anubis skins in the build

The build adds weapon skins from the Anubis collection on several weapons, including the AK-47, AWP, Desert Eagle, M4A1-S and P250. They give the classic game the desert, hieroglyph-style look of the operation.

Menu background

The main menu shows the Anubis skins against the operation's desert design, so you can look over the weapons before a match.

CS:GO and Counter-Strike 1.6

CS:GO is the successor to Counter-Strike 1.6, with updated graphics, new maps and new mechanics. This build borrows modern elements like the Anubis map and skins and brings them back to the classic game.

Servers with the Anubis map

In the server browser you'll find many servers - including mod and CS2 (formerly CS:GO) servers - where the Anubis map is available, from classic deathmatch to custom modes.
