CS 1.6 Alpha Antiterror is a custom build of Counter-Strike 1.6 with a post-apocalyptic, military theme. It keeps the classic gameplay and changes the interface, weapon skins and sounds.

Theme and interface

The main menu background shows a nuclear explosion and a row of tanks. The menus and HUD are semi-transparent, giving the build a more modern look while keeping the classic CS 1.6 feel.

Weapon skins and hands

The weapon skins aren't full HD, but they're sharper and cleaner than the defaults - the AK-47, M4A1 and Desert Eagle in particular. The player's hands wear camouflage gloves to match the military theme. The textures keep performance high, so there are no FPS drops.

Sound and config

A new menu soundtrack sets a dark tone, and the config is optimized for smoother performance and faster loading.

Servers, mods and language

The build runs on the standard Counter-Strike 1.6 engine, so it works with hundreds of online servers, bots and the usual mods and plugins. It supports Cyrillic nicknames and a full Russian-language interface. If you want a plainer classic, take a look at our CS 1.6 SK Gaming build.
